METHODOLOGY: PROTOPIA WORLD STACK
The Protopia World Stack is an integrated, science-informed and life-centric foresight methodology developed by Monika Bielskyte. It consists of three frameworks [Protopia Futures, Embodied Futures and Storyworld Design] that function as one iterative process for prototyping, testing and realizing futures worth inhabiting.
PROTOPIA FUTURES
Sets direction: which futures deserve commitment, based on explicit values and the best available science?
EMBODIED FUTURES
Tests consequences: how does innovation land in the biological reality it depends on?
STORYWORLD DESIGN
Develops adoption architecture: how does strategy become a coherent, desirable world people can recognize themselves in, be energized by and make real?
Together, the frameworks take long-horizon work from abstract vision toward decision and realization, without splitting foresight from embodied consequences or cultural participation. As the process unfolds, findings from one framework can revise assumptions carried into the others.
